Privacy at a glance
Stored locally
Your saved profile and uploaded resume stay in Chrome's local extension storage. Apply Assist does not upload or keep a copy of that data on its own servers.
When Gemini is used
Gemini is used only when you choose an AI-powered action.
- For Fill with Gemini, information needed to answer the requested form field may be sent to Gemini.
- For Resume Tailor, the job description and resume text you provide are sent to Gemini to create a tailored draft.
What Apply Assist does not do
Apply Assist does not sell your personal data, use it for advertising, or submit job applications on your behalf. You review the information and submit every application yourself.
Your choices
You can review, edit, or remove locally stored information at any time. Clearing the extension's local data or uninstalling Apply Assist removes the information stored by the extension.
Review AI-generated content
AI-generated answers and resume drafts can be incomplete or inaccurate. Always review and edit generated content before using it in an application.
